Escape rooms are a fantastic way to entertain kids or adults for a birthday party or other special event. In particular, The Teacher’s Pet has been specifically designed with kids in mind and the puzzles are all reconfigurable for different age groups.
An escape room offers a great balance of academic challenge, team building, out-of-box thinking and last but certainly not least, fun!
The Teacher’s Pet is suitable for groups no larger than six and we suggest 6 for kids older than eighth grade and 5 for adults. After they have finished, other spaces are available for a sit-down party.
We have computer games and other activities to entertain your little ones. Sit down for food and snacks. We will bring in pizza (with, silver or gold birthday package) or you can bring in food of your own.

Join us for an evening of good company, fine dining, beautiful people and… murder! Enjoy a three-course meal including roast beast (vegetarian options available) with all the trimmings. Good for groups of ten to sixteen people. Allow two-three hours. Please call (515) 337-8770 for more information or to book. We can take bookings any day or time, not just during our ‘normal’ open hours.
Murder/Mystery (10 – 16 people). Children under 10 years old not recommended. Young children may accompany adults at no charge, and we do have distractions for them.
